Leaders to Leaders - A Continuing Professional Development Programme for Top Healthcare Managers and Health Policymakers - This three year programme which began in September 2006 is developing a core of well trained top leaders in Hungary to provide the continuity of informed and responsible leadership for the ongoing health reforms irrespective of the frequent changes at the helm of the Ministry of Health. While the bulk of participants are Hungarian, invited guests from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Macedonia, Poland, and Romania will add an international flavour to the programme by providing an opportunity for sharing knowledge and experience across CEE countries.

Timeline
1992 Project HOPE begins training senior-level managers from healthcare facilities focusing on areas such as policy analysis, marketing, human resource management, and financial analysis.
1998 Breast cancer awareness campaign for physicians, nurses, educators, psychologists, social workers, and breast cancer survivors begins.
2000 Programme training mid-level managers of healthcare facilities begins to help coordinate and compliment professional relationships between senior and mid-level managers.
