Running for HOPE, July 12th 2009
Date: 23-06-2009

The British 10K London Run is one of the most prestigious road races on the running calendar. Over sixty five volunteers competed in the event on 6th July 2008 to raise thousands of pounds for Project HOPE's Vulnerable Children programme in Munsieville, West Rand, South Africa.

You can still apply for a place "Running for HOPE" in the 2009 run on July 12th, either as an individual or in teams of 4 from within your circle of friends, family or your colleagues.

During the 10K London Run you will be well looked after by our support team, to ensure the experience is worthwhile and enjoyable. You will receive training advice, a free T-shirt, finisher's medal or certificate and a pass to our cool-down zone, with complementary soft drinks and buffet lunch at the Blue Posts Pub, which is very close to the finishing line.

If you are unable to run yourself, you can sponsor Paul Brooks, Executive Director of Project HOPE UK, who will be using the event to improve his own health at the same time as raising funds to provide better health for vulnerable children in some of the world's poorest communities.
